We pass this knowledge on through the medium of this invention without a second thought. We are filled with the confidence of our technology and the ancient lineage it houses. Yet a picture conveys a thousand words and a touch wires us into the flesh of our immediate experience. What is this invention that so dominates our every waking moment?
First light. Sunday morning. I am groggy taking this photo and not thinking about composition. I am captivated by the color, the downward slots of light bathing Mt. Scott and the diffusion of light through the rain.
